There are certain enemy "experts" that fly in AW that have little or no interest in the success or failure of their nations activities. These pilots are only interested in running up huge score's to make themselves look cool !!! These are not bad people they just are a little selfish. (We can and will use this against them.)
Example: I saw 1 Az spit (X) with 4 Cz on him. Hovering over the this unfair fight was Az Expert (Y) at 30k Now Filbi's an expert and he had every advantage possible. (Altitude, flying a Spit, and he is extremely talented flyer.) He could have tipped the scales in (X)'s favor. Did he help? NO !! he sat up there on his perch at 30k+ and watched (X ) get killed. Ive seen Bz (Z) do the samething. These "Points Experts" like to fight 1 on 1 where they are almost unbeatable, (Our E--- can beat them, but most of us, including myself can't)
As you may or may not know you get more points for a kill if you landed a kill from the previous mission. So long as you do not crash or get shotdown breaking this "Kill String" your bonus points will get higher and higher, each mission of landed kills.
I have noticed that the "Points Experts" Rarely if ever risk losing their "kill String" in a furball. The reason is they can't control what s happening. They can't focus on beating 1 guy because they have to fight the group. Because of this the "Points Experts" avoid Furballs and groups of 3 or more planes.
It's funny to think that 3 guys who could totaly suck as fighters pilots, but can fly tight formation, would be safe from the best flyers in the game. A tight formation makes you look like you know what you are doing and " Points Experts" do not want to fight 3 guys who know what they are doing. Don't get me wrong the "Points Experts" do enjoy fighting guys who can fly well, they just don't want to risk losing their "Kill String" in a bad odds situtation.
My idea is simple. Try to fly in groups on 3 or more, this will get the lone wolf "Points Experts" off your back. Stay within 3000 of each other so you look like you know what your doing (closer would be better) This practice has an extra bonus, of putting more of us on less of the enemy. Find your teamates and fly wing for them, it's fun !!!! and you'll be landing more kills. You will have a "Kill String" of your own, and you'll be the one getting bonus points. The 1 on 1 "Points Experts" will forced look for easier prey.
